There are certain places where even silence blooms... and tonight, it had your name on every petal.

🌸 Volume 3 Chapter 7: The Garden Temptation 🌿

The night had settled over the office like a velvet robe—silent, rich, and watchful. While others had gone home, Kamini took the stairs, barefoot in her heels, leading Ruhaan past the conference room, past the tinted glass walls, into the garden balcony only a few knew existed.

It wasn’t just a terrace. It was her secret.

A jasmine plant curled near the railing, breathing into the night. Potted roses guarded the corners like sentinels of passion. And somewhere between the soft hum of moonlight and the whisper of leaves, Ruhaan followed her, undone.

“Why here?” he asked.

Kamini didn’t answer. She walked toward the marble bench, letting the wind catch the silk of her blouse as she turned slowly—her gaze no longer managerial, but elemental.

“You said you wanted rules,” she said, voice like lavender steam, “but some rules… can only be written in fragrance.”

She sat.

And then, she crossed her legs deliberately, the slit of her skirt revealing just enough to make him forget how to breathe.

Ruhaan stepped forward, but she held up a finger—not to stop him, but to pause the inevitable.

“You’ve seen my eyes negotiate million-dollar deals,” she said, eyes flickering in candlelight, “but have you seen them when they want only one thing?”

Silence fell between them. Not awkward. Arousing.

He came closer, now standing before her. She didn’t touch him.

Instead, Kam

ini leaned back just slightly, letting the scent of mogra and power melt into the air.

“You’re not allowed to kiss me tonight,” she whispered. “Unless I break first.”

Ruhaan froze.

The challenge was no longer about power. It was about patience in the presence of fire.

She saw it in his jaw—the way he clenched against the rising tide. And oh, she relished it.

Because in that garden… She was not Kamini, the boss. She was temptation itself—untouchable, unbearable, unforgettable.

And the game had only just begun.

I’ve studied market trends and human behavior... but nothing prepared me for the pull of your silence, Kamini.
